A system is expected to bring light rain to the region Saturday into Monday.

Santa Ana winds easing, but a Red Flag Warning for Ventura and Los Angeles Counties remains in effect until 10 a.m. Friday. Rain expected this weekend.

Wind could hit 30-50 miles an hour for inland areas and 80+ mile an hour winds are possible for mountain areas.

There's another possible wind event next Monday night-Tuesday morning, and maybe a second later in the week. Neither is expected to be an extreme event.

A Red Flag Warning will remain in effect for Ventura and Los Angeles Counties into Friday evening. But, top wind speeds expected to drop dramatically.

But, National Weather Service meteorologists say there's the potential for two more Santa Ana wind events in the next week.

Strongest wind could come in eastern Ventura County and western Los Angeles County.

Strong wind could hit parts of region Tuesday through Thursday.

Red Flag Warnings in effect for parts of the two counties. Some precautionary Public Safety Power Shutoffs are also possible.

Red Flag Warning set for 3 p.m. Tuesday to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
