Join us for the 20th Annual Jazz & Olive Festival presented by the Rotary Club of Los Olivos. Enjoy an afternoon of live music, award-winning wines of Santa Barbara County, and delicious olive based appetizers and desserts. Tickets go on sale April 1st at jazzandolivefestival.org. Tickets are still 100.00 and are all-inclusive. The Rotary Club of Los Olivos contributes all festival proceeds directly to local scholarships and to local and international service projects. Green & Blue: A Coastal Celebration, is our biggest fundraiser of the year, taking place in the beautiful gardens at Rancho La Patera & Stow House in Goleta, CA. Each year, this event brings together more than 500 guests from across the tri-county region. At Green & Blue we celebrate the many accomplishments this organization has achieved over our years and help raise critical funds to ensure EDC remains strong to protect this region for those who love it now and those who will follow in our footsteps. Guests enjoy gourmet food, local wine and beer, lively auctions, and the presentation of the 2026 Environmental Hero Award. Past awardees include actress Jane Fonda, musician Jack Johnson, and Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard, who are locally rooted, internationally recognized environmentalists.

Healthcare for Homeless Animals is celebrating 30 years of helping shelter animals with a special anniversary fundraiser on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Westlake Yacht Club.

This heartfelt brunch event will bring together animal lovers, volunteers, veterinary partners, shelter staff, donors, sponsors, local businesses, and community supporters. Guests will enjoy brunch, welcome drinks, coffee, tea, soft drinks, special gifts, raffles, silent auction prizes, animal success stories, and meaningful moments celebrating three decades of saving lives.

Proceeds help Healthcare for Homeless Animals fund medical care for shelter animals at Agoura Animal Care Center, including exams, diagnostics, x-rays, surgeries, medications, dental care, senior wellness care, foster recovery, rehabilitation, and other essential treatment.

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA’s “A Night of Wonder” Grand Affair is Saturday, October 3, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks. The evening features a themed cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, impactful moments and live entertainment – with fun, surprise elements sprinkled throughout the evening.

Proceeds from the evening benefit Southeast Ventura County YMCA programs, including Find My Genius, a free summer learning program for low- and moderate-income students who are not reading at grade level, Safety Around Water, which teaches children water safety and basic swimming skills at no cost, Youth & Government for teens and YMCA scholarship programs.

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building positive relationships, impacting lives and strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living programs and social responsibility. It serves the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Agoura Hills and Moorpark.

Salute to Scouting 2026
Scouting America – Los Padres Council will honor Central Coast leaders Bill MacFadyen, founder and publisher of Noozhawk.com, and the Borgatello Family of MarBorg Industries at the annual Salute to Scouting celebration on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, at the Santa Barbara Club in Santa Barbara.
MacFadyen will receive the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA), while the Borgatello Family will be presented with the Los Padres Council Legacy Award for their longstanding leadership, philanthropy, and community service across the Central Coast.
The annual evening event brings together business, civic, and community leaders to celebrate leadership and support youth development programs serving more than 3,000 young people throughout Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Proceeds benefit Scouting programs, leadership development initiatives, and outdoor education opportunities, including Camp Rancho Alegre’s Outdoor School.
