Cowboys fans from around the country flock to Oxnard for a closeup look at their team.

The team will hold more than a dozen workouts in Oxnard in July and August, including a joint event with the Los Angeles Rams. The events are free and open to the public.

The Cowboys are holding their 45th summer training camp in Ventura County, and their 19th in Oxnard. Fans from around the country are visiting the camp.

It's the 18th year the pro football team has come to Oxnard to train. Most of the workouts are open to the public, and are free to attend.

While Los Angeles has the Rams and Chargers, the Cowboys have also once again returned to Southern California for their summer training camp in Oxnard.

The Cowboys have 12 public workouts scheduled between now and August 15. The camp's opening ceremonies will take place Saturday.

The Cowboys will be in Oxnard July 26-August 15, with ten planned public practices.

LA has the Rams, and Chargers. But, for two weeks Oxnard is the home field for the Dallas Cowboys.
