Dallas Cowboys set to wrap up summer training camp in Oxnard this week

It may be summer, but football season is almost underway.

For the first time in more than 20 years, the Los Angeles area has a pro football team, the Los Angeles Rams. But, for more than a decade, fans have flocked to Ventura County to get a taste of pro football, as the Dallas Cowboys have held their summer training camp in Oxnard.

The Rams defeated the Cowboys 28-24 in an exhibition game in Los Angeles Saturday.  The Cowboys camp in Ventura County wraps up this week.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports from the camp in Oxnard, where he talks with some diehard Cowboys fans.
