Displays of gems, minerals, fossils & lapidary arts; on-going demonstrations of lapidary arts & jewelry making; gold panning demos; door prizes & silent auctions; a “Second Hand Treasures Store” & plant sale; 15+ dealers; and children’s activities. A So-Cal tradition for 6 decades & counting! Supports educational outreach efforts and an annual $1000 college scholarship sponsored by the Ventura Gem & Mineral Society, a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational organization.
