Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman who was struck, and killed by a train on the South Coast.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in Summerland.
A woman believed to be in her 30’s was hit by a northbound Amtrak passenger train. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name hasn’t been released.
