A teenager has died from the injuries he suffered after he was struck, and killed by a vehicle in Ventura County last month.
Jason Anthony Ortega was hit as he was trying to cross Channel Islands Boulevard in Oxnard May 30th. The 14 year old boy was first taken to a local hospital, and then transferred to Los Angeles where he later died.
Oxnard Police are still investigating the accident, but no charges have been filed against the driver.
