“The Perseid Meteor Shower Peaks on August 12th” but there’ll be some stragglers. Join us at the Moorpark College Observatory, Saturday, August 20th from 8 - 11 pm and catch a few with us.

The evening starts in the Open-Air Amphitheater with a PowerPoint presentation on what’s Up. Professor Hal Jandorf will locate these objects in real time with a green laser pointer. Then see those objects “close up” on the observation deck through dozens of telescopes set up and ready to go.

For the ultimate view enter “The Dome” and look through the 6-inch Takahashi! Arrive early to get a priority Group Number: No more standing in line, we’ll call you.
