Some Parking Regulations On South Coast Suspended During Coronavirus Crisis Reimposed

With most businesses on the Central and South Coasts closed by the coronavirus crisis and many people staying at home, a number of communities in the region eased parking regulations.

But with the reopening process underway, some communities are putting parking rules back into effect. 

People in Santa Barbara won’t have to worry about it this weekend, but starting on Monday, the city will again start enforcing timed parking limits. 

For now, the city isn’t enforcing closures for street sweeping.  Parking in the city’s downtown parking lots also temporarily remains free.
