Eat Pizza, Help Woolsey and Hill Fire Victims; Benefit Set For Wednesday

You can have a pizza this week for lunch or dinner, and help victims of the Woolsey and Hill brush fires at the same time.

A Thousand Oaks fast-casual pizza business is donating its entire day of pizza proceeds Wednesday to fire relief efforts.

Blaze Pizza is working with the Ventura County Community Foundation. From opening to close Wednesday, the restaurant is giving away its personal pizzas.

Blaze is asking people to make a donation of any amount to the Foundation’s fire relief fund.

Lance Orozco has been News Director of KCLU since 2001, providing award-winning coverage of some of the biggest news events in the region, including the Thomas and Woolsey brush fires, the deadly Montecito debris flow, the Borderline Bar and Grill attack, and Ronald Reagan's funeral.
