Arrest Made In Hit And Run Death Of Ventura County Man; Detectives Say It Was Intentional

There’s been an arrest in what police call an intentional fatal hit and run collision on the South Coast.

Jorge Tejada was struck by a SUV near the intersection of Fifth, and Meta Streets in Oxnard September 23rd. He died at a hospital a short time later.

Witnesses told detectives that a man had been arguing with the victim, and then got into an SUV and hit the 23 year Oxnard man. Detectives arrested Gerardo Miguel Rodriguez-Grajeda on a murder charge.

The 33 year old Oxnard man was already in the Ventura County Jail at the time of his arrest on an unrelated charge.
