Intersection Between Race And Law Enforcement Focus Of Virtual Forum In Ventura County

In the wake of George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis Police, and the Black Lives Matter protests around the world, the relationship between police and the public has been a hot topic.

A forum on the intersection of race and law enforcement is taking place Wednesday night in Ventura County.

Ventura County is hosting the Zoom event, which includes the Sheriff, the District Attorney, the County’s CEO, and the President of the Ventura County chapter of the NAACP.

There will be a roundtable discussion followed by question and answer session that’s open to the public.  The forum begins at 5:30 Wednesday night.  You can find a link to the forum here.
