Divers search Lake Piru for signs of actress Naya Rivera, who disappeared in Lake Piru last Wednesday. Authorities say they recovered her body Monday morning.

Authorities say they’ve found the body of an actress who disappeared while swimming in a Ventura County lake last week.

The sad discovery came Monday morning, six days into the search for Naya Rivera, best known as one of the stars of the TV series “Glee.”

Rivera had taken her four-year-old son to Lake Piru last Wednesday to go swimming.  The 33-year-old actress rented a boat.  Her son was later found asleep in the boat, and she was missing.

An autopsy is pending.  But, detectives think it was an accident, and that there are no signs of foul play.
