South Coast Community Going Blue As A Thank You To Healthcare, Essential Workers

A South Coast city is going to turn blue Thursday night to honor healthcare wolrkers, and other essential workers.

Some Santa Barbara landmarks are going to take part in the international “Light It Blue” campaign.

The Santa Barbara Mission’s tower, the Arlington Theater’s tower, the Lobero Theater, Cottage Hospital, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History’s Sea Center on Stearns Wharf will all be lit in blue starting at 8 Thursday night.

Santa Barbara businesses are being invited to join in the effort.  The lighting will remain up through the month of May.
