Ventura County Allows More Businesses Closed By Coronavirus Concerns To Reopen

There is some good news about the coronavirus crisis in Ventura County. The county is allowing the reopening of more categories of businesses.

The list includes childcare for those outside of the essential work force, office-based businesses, select businesses like full service car washes and pet grooming, and outdoor museums.

Before reopening, businesses must go through an online application process affirming they have a COVID-19 safety plan. To make it easier, the county has prepared templates for different types of businesses.

Businesses can reopen after they meet the online requirements, and don’t need an in-person inspection.

Closure orders remain in effect for places like full service restaurants, hair salons, gyms, churches, and theaters.
