Man Arrested For Two Attacks In Ventura County; Police Say They Found Him Trying To Strangle Woman

Police say they found a Ventura County man wanted for a stabbing while he was in the act of trying to kill a second person.

Oxnard Police were called to a hospital early Monday morning after a man was brought in with serious stab wounds.  Detectives say the victim identified a suspect in the attack.

As officers went to the scene of the crime, near First Street and Eliza Court in Oxnard, they noticed a trail of blood on the ground.  They followed it to a home.  After hearing the sounds of a struggle, they entered the house.

Officers say Raul Palazuelos was on top of a woman, trying to strangle her.  The 39 year old man was arrested for the attack on the woman, as well as for the stabbing of the man.  Both victims are expected to recover.
