An impromptu memorial continues to grow with flowers and candles at Santa Barbara Harbor, after the excursion boat Conception was hit by fire, and sank

Divers are now reported to have recovered 33 bodies of those who died in a fire which swept through an excursion boat in the Channel Islands over the Labor Day weekend.

The Conception had 39 people on board. It’s believed that 34 of them died in the inferno, so one body is still missing.
