A South Coast school district has picked a new superintendent.
Karling Aguilera-Fort has been selected as the new head of the Oxnard School District. Aguilera-Fort is currently head of the El Rancho Unifed School District, in Pico Rivera. He's been an educator for more than 25 years. The deal still has to be finalized by the Oxnard School Board.
He will take over for Cesar Morales, who is leaving the Oxnard district to become the new Associate Director of Student Services for the Ventura County Office of Education.
