A 911 call of shots fire led to the discovery of a wounded man on the South Coast, a man who later died at a hospital.
Oxnard Police were called to the 100 block of West Seventh Street just after 1:30 Sunday morning. They found a man who had been shot on the ground. The 22 year old man died during surgery.
His name hasn't been released. It's the fifth murder this year in Oxnard.
