Ventura County DA's Office Sets Up Center To Help Victims Of Borderline Bar Shooting

The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office has set up an assistance center for victims of this week’s Borderline Bar and Grill attack.

12 people died in the Wednesday night rampage at the popular night spot in Thousand Oaks, as well as the man investigators identified as the gunman.

The DA’s office has set up a center at 625 West Hillcrest Avenue in Thousand Oaks. It will be open from 10 to 5 on Saturday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays.

There will be a team of victim advocates on hand, with information on everything from referrals for therapy to assistance with applications for victim compensation.
