Four young men have been arrested in connection with a drive-by paintball gun shooting on the South Coast.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s officials say just after midnight on Saturday, they received a report of people inside a moving vehicle shooting at pedestrians with a paintball gun in Isla Vista at the 6600 block of Picasso Road and the 700 block of Camino Del Sur. One of the victims suffered from injuries to his chest, arm and leg.

A short time later, authorities found the suspect vehicle and discovered a paintball gun and a bag of paintballs inside. Oxnard residents 20-year-old Jelani Bell and 21-year-old Marques Russell and Ventura residents 21-year-old Alzonzo Gude and 19-year-old Elliot Couillard were arrested on charges of conspiracy and felony assault.
