Ventura County Community (Well, It's Name) Makes It To Broadway This Week

A Ventura County community is now getting some big exposure on Broadway.

The new comedy “Meteor Shower,” is set in Ojai. It’s about the interaction of two couples at an Ojai home for a dinner and to watch a meteor shower.

The play is getting mixed reviews, but a lot of attention thanks to its cast and author. It stars two of America’s hottest comedy voices, Amy Schumer and Keegan-Michael Key, and was written by comedy legend Steve Martin. The play set in the 1990’s deals with a number of adult themes, like relationships and sex.

It opened on Broadway after some test runs in San Diego and Connecticut.
