Officials Say Accidental Drug Overdose Led To Death Of South Coast Woman Who Was At Music Festival

Authorities say autopsy results show an accidental drug overdose led to the death of a South Coast woman who had been attending a music festival.

Baylee Gatlin of Ventura collapsed at the festival May 28th at Lake San Antonio, in Monterey County. She was taken to a hospital in San Luis Obispo county, where she died a short time later.

Officials with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Unit say the 20 year old woman died from LSD toxicity. She had been attending the “Lighting In A Bottle” festival, which attracted about 25,000 people to Monterey County over the Memorial Day weekend.
