Ventura County Man Dies At Las Vegas Music Festival

Autopsy results are pending on a Ventura County man who collapsed, and died over the weekend at a huge music festival in Las Vegas.

Michael Morse had been attending the Electric Daisy Carnival. Morse attended the first night of the event, and collapsed early the next morning while waiting for friends for a ride share vehicle.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office says the 34 year old man was taken to a medical tent at the festival site, where he later died. Temperatures were well over 100 degrees during the festival.

The concert promoter released a statement saying that while the exact cause of the death of the Moorpark man is still unknown, they send their thoughts and condolences to the family.
