A South Coast community has a new police chief.
Commander Chris Dunn is now heading the Camarillo Police Department.
Dunn has been in law enforcement for more than two decades, starting as a deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Dunn joined the Ventura County Sheriff’s department in 1994. He replaces Commander Monica McGrath, who is retiring.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has a contract with the City of Camarillo to provide law enforcement services.
