Playgrounds Closed By Coronavirus Beginning To Reopen On Central, South Coasts

The state opened the door this week for children's playgrounds to reopen, and some communities on the Central and South Coasts are doing it with safety precautions.   Ventura has reopened 25 of its 26 playgrounds.

There are a number of added safety requirements.  Children over the age of two need to be wearing masks.
No food or drink is being allowed in playgrounds.  And, visitors should wash and sanitize their hands before and after a visit.

Social distancing is required, which means keeping your kids from getting too close to other kids.  Also, families are being asked to limit their playground visits to 30 minutes when others are waiting to make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy the facilities.
