Santa Barbara County Non-Profit Gets $10 Million Gift Of Supplies For Global Coronavirus Relief

A Direct Relief shipment of medical supplies arrives in Nepal

A Santa Barbara County based non-profit has received a huge new gift to help with its global pandemic relief efforts.  Amazon has given Direct Relief and Feeding American $10 million dollars in supplies rannging from masks to hand sanitizer, using its distribution network to fly in supplies to Santa Barbara.

The 4.4 million masks are the single largest donation of masks to Direct Relief. 

The Santa Barbara County relief agency has been shipping critically needed coronavirus releated medical supplies to clinics and hospitals around the country throughout the crisis.  It's also been stepping up shipments around the world, especially to countries which are becoming COVID-19 hot spots.
