Concerts Still Coming To South Coast; Concertgoers Watch From Cars, Like Drive-In Movies

A unique drive-in concert series on the South Coast is allowing people to see shows safely in a socially distanced way.

A company is presenting concerts at the Ventura County Fairgrounds using a huge stage and projection TV screens, so people can watch concerts from their cars.  CBF Productions of Ventura is doing a seven concert series, with more events potentially being added.

On July 11th, country music star Randy Houser will perform.  And on July 18th, Fishbone, Ozomatli, and Rey Fresco will appear on the massive stage.

People can listen to the concerts on their car radios or through an app they can download.  CBF is sharing its facility with two other groups, the Rubicon Theater Company and the Ventura Music Festival, which are also staging events at the fairgrounds facility.  It has the capacity for about 600 vehicles for a performance.

You can find ticket information here.
