Multi-platinum selling music producer Gary Miller passed away suddenly earlier this month aged 62, at his Ventura County home.
British-born Miller was the musical director of George Michael’s Faith tour and produced hits for David Bowie, Katy Perry, Santana, Journey and many more.
He set up Rock Against Trafficking, to support victims of sex trafficking, and told KCLU last year about his plans to hold a live rock benefit.
He passed away on May 10 and a memorial is being held on Wednesday May 25.
“Truly shocked and saddened to hear my old bandmate, Gary Miller left us yesterday. He was in the band when we toured with Elton in and went on to tear it up writing and producing in the States. Founder of Rock Against Trafficking and an all-round top bloke. Sleep well fella," musician Nik Kershaw wrote on Twitter.
