It's a fun way for kids to teach a skill to other kids.

Our little learners also make great teachers.

That’s what Ventura County children's’ museum KidSTREAM aims to celebrate and encourage with their Kids Teach Kids video series, Annie Barker from the museum told KCLU.

"Kids are the best teachers to one another because they see themselves in the young child that they're watching," said Barker. "Kids teaching kids gives them a chance to videotape something they want to teach someone."

The Kids Teach Kids video series lets children step into the role of a teacher, and find the science, technology, reading, art, and math in everyday activities.

They can choose from the five daily Week Of the Young Child themes of: Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday, and Family Friday.

You can record a short video of your kids teaching their skill to a friend or family member, and submit it until March 27 and earn a play date at KidStream for your family.

Then visit their website and social media channels between April 4th and 8th to see your child’s video featured along with many more.
