Cash Incentive Hopes To Bring Tourists To Conejo Valley

What if you were given a $100 Visa cash card simply for checking into a hotel?

That’s the incentive being offered to some tourists coming to Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks.

Danielle Borja, President/CEO of Visit Conejo Valley, told KCLU News she hopes the "Conejo Cash" will bring visitors back to the area after a difficult year.

"In the Conejo Valley, for our hotels pre-pandemic, a lot of our travelers were corporate travel. So we are trying to fill that gap with leisure travelers."

Borja says that with the area being in the orange tier, it's an opportunity to eat at the many restaurants and explore the hikes and amenities.

She says the Conejo Cash could be used for a dinner date with beautiful views of Ladyface Mountain, horseback riding, beer and wine tasting, or perhaps a game of golf - or even footgolf - at Lindero Country Club.

Details on how to qualify for the reward are here.
