The wait continues for the result in one hotly contested congressional seat that covers parts of Ventura and Los Angeles counties.

Incumbent Republican Mike Garcia, is neck and neck with Democrat Christy Smith in the race for the 25th district, with fewer than 200 votes separating the two.

Garcia told KCLU that it's "as dramatic as possible."

"I'm hoping we can call this race sooner rather than later. I'm confident that the folks of the 25th District will select me again."

It could still be weeks before there is a definitive result.
