A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for California Lutheran University’s Steven Dorfman Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was renamed to honor the former Hughes executive for providing $4.8 million to support scholarships, grants and an endowment. After the ceremony, Pandocap founder and CEO Laura Moreno will give a keynote address as part of the Entrepreneur Speaker Series. She will share her journey as a Latina business owner. Refreshments will be provided. The center is located at 31416 Agoura Road #105 in Westlake Village. The event will be livestreamed. Visitors to Cal Lutheran facilities must fill out the Daily Health Check form prior to arriving. People must not come on-site if they have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell. Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, must wear face masks in indoor public or common spaces.
