Heard most recently in the Barbie movie and famously in 2001: A Space Odyssey, Strauss’ powerful opening “sunrise” launches our 30th anniversary season. Atmosphères and the Blue Danube were prominently featured in Kubrick’s masterpiece and showcase our musicians. Celebrate Lunar New Year with multi-instrumentalist Hong Wang in a world premiere by 2024 Guggenheim Fellow Kui Dong.
