Union representing 85 workers at six locations had threatened a walkout for this week.

A last-minute agreement has apparently averted a threatened strike by some Planned Parenthood workers in the Tri-Counties.

The nonprofit organization and the union representing 85 workers released a statement saying they reached a tentative agreement. Details of the deal weren’t announced, and the union’s workers still have to ratify it.

The union had said major issues included salaries and staffing levels.

The union represents medical assistants, health educators, clinicians, and support staff at Planned Parenthood facilities in Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and San Luis Obispo.
