More than 1400 acres burned by blaze in San Luis Obispo County.

A brush fire on the Central Coast has charred more than 1400 acres of land.

The Bear Fire began just after noon Wednesday in northern San Luis Obispo County. It's burning east of Santa Margarita. There's no word of any structures being damaged.

As of midnight, the fire is 75% contained. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
