The Tri-Counties college has three finalists for the Superintendent/President post.

A Tri-Counties college has narrowed its search for a new Superintendent/President down to three finalists.

The Santa Barbara City College post has been open since the summer of 2021. Kindred Murillo came out of retirement to serve as interim Superintendent/President.

The applicants include Pasadena City College Superintendent/President Erika Endrijonas, San Mateo Community College Executive Vice President Richard Storti, and Los Angeles Community College District Vice Chancellor Katrina VanderWoude.

A screening committee of college trustees, faculty members, staff and students narrowed the field down from three dozen applicants. A series of public forums with the candidates is being planned to lead up to the final decision by trustees.
