Two Storm Assistance Centers will open in Santa Barbara County this weekend

Two government assistance centers will be open on Saturday to help people in Santa Barbara County hard hit by the recent storms.

Two government assistance centers will be open on Saturday to help people in Santa Barbara County hard hit by the recent storms.

Centers will be open Saturday in Montecito and Sisquoc, with Santa Barbara County, state, and federal officials on hand to help storm victims.

Two in-person storm assistance centers are opening this weekend in Santa Barbara County, to help those impacted by last week’s massive storm.

Representatives from county, state, and federal agencies will be on hand to offer resources ranging from counseling to applying for financial aid.

The Montecito Local Assistance Center will be open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. It will be at the YMCA at 591 Santa Rosa Lane in Montecito.

And, the Sisquoc Local Assistance Center will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday. It will be located at Blochman School, which is at 4949 Foxen Canyon Road, which is east of Orcutt.
