Are You Ready For Some Football? Dallas Cowboys Returning To Oxnard For Summer Training Camp

Cowboys missed last year in Ventura County due to pandemic, but returning for 15th time.

What’s known as “America’s Football Team” is officially returning to Ventura County this summer.

The Dallas Cowboys and the “Visit Oxnard” tourism group confirmed the pro football team will be back this year for the team’s summer training camp.

It’s the 15th year that the Cowboys will do at least part of their summer camp in Oxnard. It didn’t happen last summer because of the pandemic. Most of the team’s practices will be open to the public with free admission. The Cowboys will also bring back their fan experience, with team memorabilia, Cowboys merchandise, live entertainment, and food.

The open practices begin July 22nd and conclude August 11th. One of the highlights is expected to be a practice game against the Los Angeles Rams August 7th. The Rams permanent training facility is at Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks, but the team does its summer camp in Irvine.
