The Creating 805 speaker series takes place on second Fridays at THE SANDBOX Goleta, and third Fridays at THE SANDBOX Paso Robles. About Sun & Swell:
Sun & Swell has always been a company that stands for quality, organic, whole food that is free from heavy processing and harmful ingredients like preservatives, added sugars, and other chemical additives. Their journey started with a desire to make it easier for people to eat whole, real food- but it didn't stop there. Sun & Swell has always wanted to be more than just a food company- they've wanted to stand for something. This led them to formalize their commitment to making the lives of their employees, community, and customers better by becoming a certified B-Corp and joining 1% for The Planet in 2017.
Over 75% of products Sun & Swell sells come in compostable packaging. Don't have access to composting? No problem- they've got you covered! Sun & Swell offers a send-back program so that they can do the composting for you. Their eco-friendly shipping boxes use compostable tape, they offer carbon neutral shipping, and they avoid ink heavy printing and plastic inserts so that even their shipping boxes can be composted after use!
Sun & Swell knows that they're just one small family company, and you are just one consumer, but we've got to start somewhere. Together we can do something much larger than ourselves.

An hour long, searingly innovative and comedic take on an oft-told story, DI LADY DI eschews the fairytale glamor of the People’s Princess to illuminate her struggles in a dysfunctional family and paternalistic society. Under pressure to sacrifice self and conform to oppressive external demands, Lady Di bravely relinquishes illusory dreams to emerge from her crucible-chrysalis as an empowered woman of influence, transcending celebrity and transforming the monarchy. Through beautiful, multi-layered harmonies and incisive lyrics, DI LADY DI celebrates the transformative possibilities of finding humor in the darkness, overcoming familial trauma, and the ineffable power of a woman’s intuition.
