Young Artists ... do you want to improve your drawing skills?

Join us to learn the basics of drawing the human body. Students will develop their skills using a variety of media including; pencils, charcoal, conte crayon and ink. We will draw from a variety of objects and a live model.

We are so lucky to be able to offer our students class time with Rafael Perea de la Cabada, an internationally exhibited, and collected artist and long-time college art educator. He makes time in his full schedule to share his vast knowledge with our students and we couldn't be more grateful.

CONFLICT KITCHEN uses the social relations of food to "break bread" and engage the public in meaningful conversation. This event centers on refugees who have made their way to Ventura County and their experiences.

Pianist, composer and arranger Sean Chen brings a “genuinely sensitive, alluring and colorfully shaded rendering to all he performs.”

With a repertoire running the gamut from swing to bebop to the Great American Songbook, Veronica Swift is a young but fully fledged star on the international jazz scene. Boasting a clear and lilting tone and radiant stage presence, she is also a master of rigorous vocal techniques like vocalese and scat.
