  • Bombafiya are a multi-talented Ventura based Reggae band that is breaking new ground with their innovative and refreshing sound. Winners of Ventura County’s “Best Reggae Band of 2019”

    Founded by Collin Daniels along with his wife Benicia. Bombafiya was initially a collaborative effort to spread positive messages of peace, love and unity through music. It has since evolved into a full fledged Reggae Rock band that is making music that is thoughtful, conscious, and driven by a desire to motivate and inspire all those that hear it.

    Bombafiya is comprised of 6 talented musicians namely Collin Daniels (Guitar, Vocals, and Production), Benicia Grace (Vocals ), Stefanosis (bass) , Eddie Cardenas (Drums) , Filiverto Landeros (Keyboards, Production) , and Andrew Chermak(trumpet).

    Singular Nature brings their unique brand of Reggae to Namba arts. Their music elements of blues, rock, ska, soulful jazz, and world music.

    Ventura County, CA based Alt-Reggae band Singular Nature was formed by the trio of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Taylor ” Hefty Chieftain” Griese, Kristofero Morales, and Georgy Sweiden and has matured into a versatile powerhouse ensemble consisting of drummer Dave Goldberg and bassist Matt Villa.

    Boom Duo is John Lacques (drums, percussion, small instruments) and Noah Thomas (trumpets, conch, theremin, electronics). Boom Duo perform compositions created in the moment, taking listeners on a trip through a varied sonic landscape. Drawing from their personal experience of a rich world musical heritage, Boom Duo builds conversations/reflections on Bourbon Street , the streets of Jaipur, or the freedom found in the experimentalism of Chicago, they revel in the energy of 1940s 52nd street NYC while dreaming of impromptu jam sessions in Havana or Port au Prince.

  • The Women's Recognition Awards has deep roots in our community acknowledging and uplifting the work of women. This year's keynote speaker is Dolores Huerta, an American labor leader and civil rights activist who, with Cesar Chavez, co-founded the National Farmworkers Association, which later merged with the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee to become the United Farm Workers.
