Apple Watch Sport Giveaway Official Rules
Prize: A 38mm Apple Watch Sport. Giveaway is for the Apple Watch Sport only. No accessories or extended warranty included. Approximate value: $299.00.
General Rules: By participating in any of the KCLU “Apple Watch Sport Giveaway” participants agree to these official rules. Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
Taxes, accessories or expenses exclusive of giveaway item are the responsibility of the winner. KCLU, California Lutheran University and related organizations, their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from the use of prizes or participation in the giveaway.
Entry constitutes permission to use entrant’s name, city, state, likeness, image, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any and all media without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval.
KCLU reserves the right to substitute prize of equal value.
How to Enter: Everyone who pledges during the giveaway entry period specified under the “Eligibility” section of these official rules will be automatically entered in the drawing. No contribution is necessary to enter. You may send one email entry per giveaway per household with your name, address, email if available, and both day and evening telephone numbers to kclu@callutheran.edu. Please use the subject line: KCLU Apple Watch Sport Giveaway. Only one entry per giveaway per household will be accepted.
Eligibility: Any resident of KCLU’s terrestrial geographical listening area who is 18 years or older can enter the “Apple Watch Sport Giveaway” drawing during the giveaway entry period specified below except employees of KCLU, California Lutheran University and their related organizations, their immediate families, or persons living in the same household. Entrants must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number and/or a valid U.S. personal tax identification number, and must sign a release and receipt for prize awarded. Void where prohibited by law.
Giveaway entry period: Monday, March 28, 2016 to Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
Selection and Notification of Winners: KCLU will select potential winners in a random drawing form among all eligible entries received. KCLU will attempt to notify the potential winner via telephone or email on or about April 26, 2016. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days of the first attempt to contact him/her, or if the potential winner is ineligible or cannot accept the prize, KCLU may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place at random from the remaining eligible entries.
The potential winner will be notified by phone or email. Each potential winner will be required to complete and sign an affidavit of eligibility.
