The death of a woman and a man in Ventura County is now being called a murder/suicide.
Simi Valley Police were called to the 500 block of Fairfield Road in Wood Ranch at around 7 Thursday night by reports of an injured woman.
In the home they found the body of a woman and a man.
The situation became more complicated when they found a message on a wall indicating there might be a bomb in the house.
Nearby residents were evacuated, but no explosives were ultimately found. Police think a man fatally wounded his mother, and then killed himself.
