A second person has died in connection with a Sunday night shooting in Santa Barbara

Detectives are still trying to figure out what led to an attack on the South Coast which left two people dead, and two wounded.

It happened just before 6 Sunday night on Santa Barbara’s Eastside.  Santa Barbara Police investigators say someone fired shots into a group of people.

18-year-old Omar Hernandez was fatally wounded, as was a 17-year-old teen.  Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives think the attack may have been gang related.  No arrests have been made.
