Nearly 2300 confirmed coronavirus cases have now been reported on the Central and South Coasts.
The total stands at 2298.
Santa Barbara County has 1371 diagnosed cases. However, the vast majority of the county’s numbers continue to be from the federal prison complex in Lompoc.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons reported Tuesday that 907 inmates and 29 staff members had tested positive.
Ventura County has 700 confirmed positives, and San Luis Obispo County is at 227 cases. The death toll remains at 31 for the region, with the majority of victims older adults with preexisting health conditions.
