Two additional coronavirus related deaths are being reported on the Central and South Coasts, moving the region’s total to 316 since the start of the pandemic. Ventura County had two more deaths, for a total of 164. Santa Barbara county has had 120, and San Luis Obispo County 32.
The numbers have been fluctuating for the last few days with further investigation of some deaths leading to them being counted against, or removed from the coronavirus related totals.
136 new coronavirus cases have been reported in the region, with 71 in Ventura County, 45 in Santa Barbara County, and 20 in San Luis Obispo County. More than 27,900 cases have now been documented in the region.
