Coronavirus Case Total For Central, South Coasts Approaching 25,000 Mark

We could pass an unfortunate milestone in the battle against coronavirus on the Central and South Coasts Friday.  It’s expected the total number of cases for the region will top 25,000.

There are currently 24,950 in the three counties.  The good news is the number of newly diagnosed cases has been down for the last few days.  Ventura County had 52 Thursday, Santa Barbara County 30, and San Luis Obispo County 31.

Most of those diagnosed with the virus have already recovered. There was one additional death reported in the region Thursday, in Ventura County.  It brings the total for the Tri-Counties to 289 deaths.
