A botanical gardens on the South Coast closed by the coronavirus crisis is set to reopen this weekend.
The Ventura Botanical Gardens will welcome visitors again starting on Saturday.
Because of coronavirus concerns, the 100-plus-acre park is now set up for social distancing, and the number of visitors at any one time will be limited.
The community will also get its first look at improvements made to the gardens, including a new entrance with a new walkway.
The Botanical Gardens is open Wednesday through Sunday, with free admission on Friday.
