A 17 year old boy was arrested after a hit and run accident which left a South Coast bicyclist dead. Oxnard
Police say Gregory Dominguez was riding his bike near the intersection of Lakehurst Street, and Janetwood Drive just after 7 a.m. yesterday. He was hit by an SUV. The SUV then hit a tree. Officers say the teenage driver then fled on foot, but was caught moments later. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, and then arrested. While the investigation is continuing, police say it appears alcohol or drugs may have been involved.
Dominguez was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
